From Phrae into the world
The story starts in Phrae and expands into the rest of Thailand. Each chapter contains ten lessons, with food and everyday language alongside the places Dao and Din explore. New vocabulary builds on earlier lessons and returns in new situations.
Begin with 40 lessons, plus Welcome, across four chapters. A new chapter is added every month, included in your subscription. Each new destination adds local food, culture and useful everyday Thai.
Phrae
Free, together with Learn Thai Script.
Welcome introduces the companions. The ten lessons then explore the rice field, home, breakfast, weekdays, the market, the river, a garden, rain, a temple and an evening at home.
Chiang Mai
Subscription chapter.
Pack for a trip, take a bus, find a guesthouse, meet a friend and explore the old city. Along the way, learn numbers and prices, order khao soi and make plans to meet.
Bangkok
Subscription chapter.
Arrive in the city, use a station and train, ask directions, find a café, order lunch, take a river boat and plan a day out. Familiar words return in new settings.
Hua Hin
Subscription chapter.
Explore the sea, sand and shoreline. Learn seven colors through beach objects, weather and seasons, seafood, swimming vocabulary, beach animals, market fruit, cycling and saying goodbye.
One subscription for the journey
Subscription prices are USD $2.99 per month or USD $24.99 per year, with the same premium chapter access on either plan. An annual subscription is billed upfront. App Store prices in other currencies may vary.
Learn Thai Script and Phrae stay free. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple’s subscription settings. Expiration removes access to paid content while retaining your saved learning progress.
